In the words of the bride...

"Michael and I met through a mutual friend at Bob Jones University, about 4 years ago. Michael and I had seen each other around, but had never met. Michael knew the girl I was eating lunch with, and saw me eating with her, and wanted to meet me, so he thought up some excuse to meet me.

Well it worked. We started out as friends, with me having no idea that Michael was interested in me near his home in Maryland. Michael proposed to me one month after graduating from Bob Jones University together. Michael took me out for dinner at a local bed and breakfast, but I thought it was for my birthday, and then he took me to the park and I was looking through a telescope when suddenly I saw the words “Marry me?” that looked like it was written in the stars. I was speechless.

Michael added many special touches, that made it unforgettable. I was surprised. We started planning our wedding, but had a difficult time figuring out where to get married. Michael is from Maryland, and I was from Alabama, so we picked a middle spot to get married in Greenville, SC. It was a challenge planning a long distance wedding with living in Maryland, and me in South Carolina. There is definitely a lot of work that goes into a wedding. Our wedding turned out really special, and very much like a fairytale wedding."
